![]() ![]() SoundDiver is basically the center of my entire studio (much more so than Cubase). I meant great to hear that it runs on 8.afreakinmazing!I hear you. I meant great to hear that it runs on 8.afreakinmazing!ĮDIT sorry I used your first post. Please music maven can you shed a little light on the imaging process?ĭo I need the dameon tools pro ? Or maybe try a different CD burner?ĮDIT sorry I used your first post. I have nitemares of putting in my CD one time and hearing it shatter.had it happen once to a game CD. I think i found the 3.0.5 update online, but I would love to know how to make a disk image. My os 9 machine is dying so I'm moving my SD to my xp machine. I am so glad to hear that!!!! Been using SD since Atari and can't imagine running my studio without it. It seems like this is an access/permissions issue (that results from the stricter security measures in Windows 8). So I am wondering if anyone else has been able to successfully authorize SoundDiver on Windows 8. It's annoying having to go through this rigmarole every time I launch SoundDiver. Once I dismiss the message, SoundDiver launches and runs without any problems. (Why oh why did I upgrade to an OS that offers zero benefits to musicians over Windows 7? What was I thinking?) Now I am unable to authorize SoundDiver (even from the original CD).Įvery time I launch SoundDiver it goes through the "Checking CD" procedure for about a minute but then throws an "Access Denied. Unfortunately, like an idiot I upgraded to Windows 8.1 recently via a clean install. ![]() (I was even able to authorize SoundDiver via a virtual disc image I created using Daemon Tools so that I didn't need to insert my SoundDiver CD periodically to re-authorize the program.) I had been running SoundDiver v3.0.5 on Window 7 without any issues. ![]()
